The Highways Agency has finally published plans to dual the A21 between Tonbridge and Pembury. This important road improvement may begin in a couple of years but at this stage the plans are out for public consultation. They can be viewed and commented on at a public exhibition at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge on Friday 15th January 5pm – 9pm and Saturday 16th January 10am – 5pm. The deadline for comments is Friday 5th March.

If there are objections to the scheme there will be a public inquiry in the summer. Full details can be found on the Highways Agency web site.
