Liberal Democrat Town Councillor for Southborough North ward Learn more

The long running saga of planning applications in Still Lane, off London Road, continues with the latest application being turned down by the Borough Council. In 2006 an application for a terrace of three town houses and a block of four flats was given approval. The latest plans added another town house to the approved scheme. However this additional dwelling was felt to have a detrimental effect on the amenities of the neighbouring properties in Ruscombe Close. It also meant that the whole scheme no longer met the Borough’s policy on the mix of dwelling sizes.
